Pris en valeur 40 après avoir terminé une fois troisième et deux fois second dans des maidens parisiens, le protégé d'André Fabre Ozat (Kingman) ouvre son palmarès dans le Prix Laurent Descourt, un maiden disputé sur 1.600 m. Tout de suite vu en bons rangs, le partenaire d'Alexis Pouchin place son accélération à 300 m du but, laissant ses adversaires sur place, il s'impose avec 5 longueurs d'avance sur le rentrant Istanblue (Blue Point).
